"My MBA degree has helped me achieve a higher level of professional confidence and enhanced my problem-solving skills that will help me succeed through all kinds of challenging situations at work."

Nuhu Okikiri

What factors made you choose Point Park University for graduate school?

I chose Point Park University because it has a very strong business school (the Rowland School of Business), and I wanted to study under the best minds. Also, the MBA program offered the specialization I was seeking (business analytics), and I wanted to fast track my education.

Why did you decide to concentrate your MBA degree in business analytics?

I decided to concentrate my MBA in business analytics because it is a very reliable means for organizations to get business insights that are based on the data and statistics of business performance. Being a business analyst makes you a great asset to any business or organization.

What did you learn from the faculty in our MBA program?

The faculty gave me knowledge in a variety of areas of business including marketing, business strategy, data analytics, strategic planning and other necessary skills to run a business.

What are your favorite Point Park grad school memories?

My favorite memory was my Strategic Planning class. As a group, we simulated a virtual company with real-life concepts. We were asked by our professor to run the company using MarketPlace Live to simulate in real time. My team performed the best in the class, making it my favorite memory of grad school.

How has your MBA degree helped you advance in your career?

My MBA degree has helped me achieve a higher level of professional confidence and enhanced my problem-solving skills that will help me succeed through all kinds of challenging situations at work.
